A Short Thought On Worship

Worship in relation to community expression is the continuous effort of a people to deconstruct methods of self-glorification by recalibration their focus to Jesus and His mission to the world. It is the “everything we do” lived through the restorative power of the Resurrection. It is the fulfillment of God’s original intent: to have a people who will stop at nothing to ensure that the whole world knows-not only in word, but also in deed- that there is good news for the poor, that there is freedom for the prisoners, that there is sight for the blind, and that there is justice for those who are oppressed. True worship is God’s people bringing their Father’s Kingdom to the world that He loves.
